What are T1, T2, T3 exercises?
T1, T2, and T3 exercises refer to a way to categorize and prioritize exercises for a lifting program
T1
T1 (Main) Exercises: These are the core compound movements that form the foundation of your workout. They target major muscle groups and include exercises like squats, bench presses, and deadlifts.
T2
T2 (Supplemental) Exercises: T2 exercises are variations or accessories to T1 movements. They focus on similar muscle groups but often provide a slightly different stimulus. For example, if your T1 is the bench press, a T2 exercise might be incline bench press or dumbbell presses. Or it could be the same exercise but done at a lower weight and more reps.
T3
T3 (Assistance) Exercises: T3 exercises are isolation movements that target specific muscles or weaknesses. These can include exercises like bicep curls, tricep extensions, or leg curls.
The goal of this approach is to prioritize the most important exercises (T1) for strength and muscle development and then complement them with variations (T2) and isolation work (T3) to address specific needs. It's a flexible and effective way to structure a workout routine.
